The Black Farmers Market seeks to breathe new life into Brixton market, creating an online communal hub and bringing fresh ideas to Brixton Station Road, this will have the added benefit of connecting the wider community with local growers.
COMMUNITY
By highlighting our diverse set of Black growers we aim to engage the local and wider community by showing the possibilities of an inclusive approach to community engagement.
CONNECT
We will bridge the gap between traditional market goers and newer members of the community, this will allow us to create new and exciting income opportunities for growers. Our event will, by using our online hub to bring together community growing groups, new opportunities for projects and volunteering will be created.
